These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Freqyn ("we", "us", "the Service"), operated by Hassan Ahmad, a web application that generates editable, word-timed captions for videos and lets you export captioned videos from your browser. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Freqyn transcribes the audio of videos you provide and produces caption text (including Roman Hinglish, Hindi, and English), which you can edit, style, and export. Video files are processed locally in your browser; only the extracted audio is sent to our servers for transcription.

2. Accounts

• You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old, or use the Service under supervision of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms.
• You must provide accurate information and not impersonate anyone else.

3. Free tier, plans and credits

• New accounts receive 100 seconds of free transcription. Only transcription consumes your seconds — editing, re-styling, and re-exporting are free and unlimited.
• Paid plans: Pro at ₹499 per month and Pro Annual at ₹4,999 per year, each including 60 minutes of transcription per month. Current pricing is always shown on our pricing section.
• Unused monthly transcription minutes do not roll over to the next billing cycle.
• We may change plan pricing or inclusions with prior notice; changes apply from your next billing cycle.

4. Payments and billing

• Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
• You can cancel anytime from your account page; see our Cancellation & Refunds Policy for details and timelines.
• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

5. Your content

• You retain all rights to the videos you process and the captions you create.
• You grant us a limited licence to process the extracted audio solely to provide the Service (transcription and caption timing).
• You are responsible for having the rights to any content you process, and for the captions you publish.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to process content you do not have rights to;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service;
• resell or provide the Service to third parties without our written consent;
• circumvent usage limits or credit accounting.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, templates, design, and branding, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our brand or software beyond using the Service as intended.

8. Availability and disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Automatic transcription is not guaranteed to be error-free — you can and should review captions before publishing. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Sections 5–9 survive termination.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service or email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
